Part 1: The Accreditation Offer (For Organizations)
The ICoBC Global Seal of Quality
The ICoBC Global Seal is the definitive benchmark for excellence in the digital credentialing industry. It validates that your credentialing program meets the “VRITE” standard (Value, Rigor, Impact, Trust, Experience), serving as a trusted signal to learners, employers, and the global education market.
Why Get Certified?
π Global Recognition
Earn the license to display the “ICoBC Accredited” Seal on your credentials and marketing materials.
π Strategic Audit
Receive a confidential, deep-dive report from independent experts identifying strengths and growth areas.
π Ecosystem Priority
Accredited credentials receive priority indexing in the ICoBC Global Skills Taxonomy Hub and Partner Wallets.
The Accreditation Journey πΊοΈ
We separate Consulting (Preparation) from Auditing (Validation) to ensure the highest integrity.
-
Step 1: Readiness (Recommended)
Before applying for the full audit, we strongly recommend conducting a Maturity Check.
π‘ Tip: Work with an ICoBC Accredited Partner to perform a gap analysis and prepare your documentation. This significantly increases your success rate during the audit. -
Step 2: Application & Eligibility
Submit your intent to apply. Our team verifies your basic eligibility. Active ICoBC Members enjoy waived application fees.
-
Step 3: The Audit (VRITE Review)
An independent Lead Reviewer is assigned to your case. This includes a desk review of your evidence and a live interview session. The Reviewer assesses your program against the 5 pillars: Value, Rigor, Impact, Trustworthiness, and Experience.
-
Step 4: Certification & Licensing
Upon passing, you are awarded the Global Seal of Quality. You pay the annual licensing fee to maintain the validity of the seal.
